Back in 2010-2012 Dropbox offered the nice feature that allowed you to host files (for FREE \o\).
Every user had the "Public" folder in his account and could for example embed images uploaded there on online forums etc.

However, Dropbox first disabled automatic creation of "Public" folders (but it was possible to create one though a hidden setting) and later, on March 15, 2017 COMPLETELY DISABLED PUBLIC FOLDERS FOR ALL OF THE INTERNET!
Insane amounts of content was totally lost, there was no way for anyone to save it :(


So here is the replacement for my old Dropbox folder in case anyone looks it up :)
